When asked, "why do we do what we are doing?" The answer is simply, "Because they did it for us."

"They" are our fathers, uncles, brothers, and sons. "They" are our mothers, aunts, sisters, and daughters. They served in the United States military as sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines. They have served us unfailingly with their blood, sweat, and tears. They have sacrificed their comfort, security, and safety so that we may enjoy ours. Our military members have given the utmost of themselves. 

We understand "We the People..." to mean that the responsibility for caring for our veterans, our fellow citizens, falls to us personally. Our Kids Sound Off project aims to raise awareness of what the military has done and does for us on an ongoing basis. It aims to highlight the intelligence and skill employed for our benefit. To highlight the determination and strength that is expended on our behalf. To underscore the sacrifices willingly made so that we can sleep in peace at night. We appreciate our freedoms and thank those who secured them by donating a portion of the profits from this book to charitable organizations that support veterans.
